£25 discount off Littlewoods 29 min spend

yes mine too i have had £ 25 added to my account, will get my husband to check his in the morning and my dad. i think this is terrible and i am sure it is not legal. i will be cancelling all my littlewoods accounts soon.

i will call them in the morning too

My sister had something similar recently with another catalogue.
I advised her to pay off everything she owed by cheque ( minus the charge they had added ), to photocopy the cheque, her remittance slip and to draft a letter explaining in her eyes the charge was an unlawful breach of terms by the catalogue and they have a cheque enclosed in full and final settlement of the account, which she was closing with immediate effect.
Then to send payment, the letter and cheque and then when they ring, to advise that she would rather see them in court for the £25.

Funnily enough nothing more has been said on this matter...

I am going to keep my eye on my bank account in case I get a debit of this amount..has anyone had the money taken back if they used a debit card? or is this only if you have done it on a Littlewoods account?

They cant just take the money from your card.. I think they will send a statement asking you to pay...

HELP!!!

I used this code 4 times, and now they want £100 quid off me which I just don't have -I used it once on 4 different accounts, I phoned Customer Services but they said I have to put it in writting. any advice would be fab

I ordered an item in July using the code, the item was out of stock so the credit has sat on my account until the item I wanted is in stock again.

I've just checked and it's been cancelled, so I can't even claim they sold me goods at that price can I?

To be fair though, the luck had to run out soon, I think some people were getting quite greedy so it was clearly going to set the alarm bells ringing.;)

its not fair at all, if they dont want ppl to use the codes they shouldnt accept them in the 1st place not go and reverse them months later without even informing the customer!

I personally haven't used the £25 code. However I did buy an item the other week, and used 2 or 3 codes all on the first order on a single item.
I got my credit card statement through, showing they had taken full payment, then credited the discount back to the card, so I got the item for half price.
