It did say in the email the original price including discount and free postage, however they didnt charge me that price
It took so long and much grief getting my money back that in the end I never buy from a catalogue owned by them any more0 -
I decided to set up a credit account for my order, that way they can't take the wrong amount from my card0

I placed an order using one of these codes today, on an account set up in my hubby's name. I've just had an email saying they need further info before they can complete my order, and to phone them!!??
Am worried they'll ask where the code came from. Any ideas?0 -
Id be careful, is setting up an account in another persons name fraud? Even if it is your husband! By rights they shouldn't be able to speak to you about another persons account (even hubbys!). You could of course adopted a husky, male voice, extreme measure to get a discount though!
PS wasn't being judgmental, i've done exactly the same to get discount off my new hoover!!!November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.0 -
Hmm perhaps I won't phone and just consider the order a write-off. I only created one in his name because I can't seem to log back into my own, even though I know I'm using the correct details. Grrr.0

Ahh panic not people! Just had (well, hubby had) another email from them saying they can't deliver the order, BUT it's because our home address is often seen as a business address - they said resubmit order to home address and they'll deliver it. Of course, now I can't get back into HIS account either.... What's that all about??0

Much appreciated info chaps. I just ordered a game for my daughter and saved over £20.0

Just wondered what codes are exactly working and is there a minimum spend. I ahve tried to buy something for £25 and can't get the £18.50 or £20 odd pound one to work0

It's mainly trial and error with codes but I have a feeling that the codes you are trying have a minimum spend of around £40 or £50 ... good luckWhenever I'm caught between two evils, I take the one I've never tried......0 -
The £18.50 worked for me on £26.50 but not any lower.Bit of a Florida Fan :j
