Hello :) I know theres not long left but can I join?
I'm not going to count essential grocery, essential travel, or debt payments.
I'm aiming to not spend a single unnecessary penny for the rest of this month!
Not too tricky as I don't get paid until 30th and hopefully I do well on my 1% challenge!
    Here goes...!

Hi grassgirl and welcome to 'The Madhouse',AKA Ennessdee Towers.

I see that Ms. Nargle is sorting you out with some eats.Would you like tea or coffee with those yummy sounding scones? :D

All I need to make you an official member of the NSD team is a target figure....pretty please....;)

Bigmummaf welcome to our beloved [STRIKE]flounder[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] (no Igor,it's founder, and no,that's not a choice piece of fish to fry!!!!) and godmother, great to see you back...are you going to join us?Let me go and dust off your cup...You've missed some great adventures....Igor's latest culinary triumph was a great success (braised ferret and mash) and he's busy preparing his old staple, and a firm favourite of ours : pickled sprouts curry. :D

So,my little piece of crumpled paper is all up to date.Hopefully I'll find time to update the front page tonight.Sorry, but there's lots going on just now. It's all good stuff though. :)

For all of you who have reached their target,we all say 'Well done!' :j:j:j

NSD 5/6! Had a lovely day as my Mum popped round in my lunch break and I started to get on top of my backlog which feels nice, even better no spend! Somehow overspent badly this month so limited monies left before overdraft, these NSDs are really helping!

  • Our absolutely brilliant nsd total stands at 330 nsds !!!

Ok,well the figure might be wrong, but I couldn't face adding it all up again for the third time, and I can no longer use Hubert's abacus.
Igor broke it in a fight of rage. The sous-chef forget to stir the sauce, which turned into a rather unappetizing brown sludge.Igor used a few choice words and I'm sure that his blood pressure went through the roof;Gordon Ramsay would be proud....

Guess what's for breakfast tomorrow...that's right, you've guessed it...brown sludge.Igor is calling it 'treacle-infused porridge',but don't let yourself be taken in.He is quite the prima donna these days.He is so passionate about his cooking though. :D

PS did you know that he applied to be a contestant on 'Masterchef'? I think that he's taken the rejection to heart...:(

Aren't we doing well BTW?! :j
  • How many fingers and toes have Hubert and Igor got between them, cos I can't count :o.
On 16th Nov,I reported having had 4 NSDs.I had actually had 5 .
So,ontop of that,I have had NSDs yesterday and today, making it a total of 7 for the month.
Thank you for all your hard work, marmiterules hugs.gif
