I have been AWOL for a few months but have lurked occasionally on the DFW board.
The bad news first: ...
I am back on the dreaded weed
My credit card is creeping up and for the first time ever I had to balance transfer last month.
The good news:...
I am still keeping a spending diary
Life could be a lot worse
I am hoping to get a mortgage in June next year for a new build a bit later on in 2015 and I really need to get my credit card bill under control. I intend on giving up smoking again in the next few weeks. I have done it before so know I can do it again.
I hope you don't mind me joining in again and on that assumption will pledge 14 days of no spending.
I will not be including any days I spend on work expenses otherwise I would be lucky to ever reach more than 8.

Never done this challenge before but I'm going to put myself down for 15 nsd and 5 in a row please.
I'm setting my standards if a nsd to be nothing spent in cash, credit card or debit card, all the bills are SO and DD so im not counting them.
Looking firward to the challenge.0 -

Going to change my tactics this time and set aside a grocery budget so it doesn't count as a spend during the month (unless of course I go over budget:()That's what I did. Not only did I achieve more NSDs, but I kept within budget!

I'm going to change my rules (again). As I have a budget for everything,I'm going now to count the day as an nsd,if I stay within budget.Hopefully that'll keep me more on the straight and narrow.
I need to be super vigilant,as my salary has gone down by a sixth.I know I can do it.I just need to ajust my spending /budget habits.Given I have only a few weeks until my wedding, and many things to buy in readiness for it, and many things to buy that I probably have not yet realised are necessary, I shall reduce my target this month to an achievable 10 NSD's please Marmite
Doesn't time fly?!
I hope that you're not feeling too stressed.
