    This looks nice:

Onion soup (would probably use up the most onions and you could freeze some, as a good starter for dinner parties), cheese and onion bread, cheese and onion pie.

Or...just make even more marmalade, jar it and give it away as gifts (will it last 'til Christmas?)

Roast them in quarters and have them as a veg or in a baguette with nice cheese (I like goats cheese but any will do) Yum.

Its not very healthy, but if you slice and caramelise a ton of red onions with a little sugar, for around 1hr, cooking on a low heat until very sticky and soft, then cut in half a whole Camembert cheese, stuff it with the onions, put it back in its little wooden case and bake in the oven for around 10 mins on a low heat again, it will be the closest to heaven you'll probably ever be! :)

That sounds absolutely gorgeous (but definitely not good for the waistline!). Think I might have to try that - I've never caramalised onions for an hour, usually only do it for about 15 or 20 minutes.

Red onions are lovely added to other veg and roasted in a little olive oil for a delicious side dish. We have an earlier thread with lots more ideas so I've added this thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
