I really think you need to know before you've gone away, that this has been sent. It's just a letter, takes a minute to print add your name & address and the PCN number and it's ready to post.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've printed, have my address details and pc number and is ready to post. What should I expect to happen now if anything?
Thank you so much for helping me here?
I'll see your response when I get back.0 -
Well the PPC might cancel or they might reply and say you are too late to appeal. In which case you'd need to complain to the facilities Manager and PALS to insist the thing is cancelled under the sad circumstances of your Hospital visit.
August the Department of Health issued new guidelines which told hospitals in England to cut the cost of parking for certain groups - including relatives of people who are seriously ill.
The guidelines state: 'Additional charges should only be imposed where reasonable and should be waived when overstaying is beyond the driver’s control (eg when treatment takes longer than planned.)'PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you so much.
Got back from holiday and received a letter from CPP saying;
"After due consideration of the circumstances described in you letter, it has been decided that no further action will be taken in respect of the parking notice"
Thanks again0 -

Well done - and sorry if I seemed harsh earlier upthread.0 -
it's fine I'm thick skinned. Still smiling and joking after a diagnosis of MS and having a still born son.
Gotta be cruel to be kind.

Well done. I hope you now know where to go or send your friends if they ever get a parking ticket on private land. Also, tell your knowledgeable relative where to go ... to get up to date advice.

I'm really pleased for you and that you've got rid of this quickly. I'm also very pleased you followed forum advice rather than the scary advice you told us about when you first posted on here.
If you'd ignored the letters you would still likely have this hanging over you in 12 months time.
Finally, and once again, my sincere condolences on your loss. Hopefully time will heal.
All the best. From advice, very trusting advice, I am going to just ignore letters coming in and when they start talking about legal action, if they do, I will still ignore and then talk with my advice person.
Thank you,
dvtrvPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
