I love that flamingo - I have a lovely Bird of Paradise plant and it would look lovely perched in the compost under the shade of a leaf! Or it would make a lovely cake topper on my wedding cake ....when and if I ever get married! ( I would need to find a blue flamingo to stand beside it though! )

Doing the the advents have made me consider the deeper things in life, such as do I really like sprouts? Yes or No. (It's a tough one, it has to be yes)
Do I have a favourite cracker joke. No! ,
Which one is not one of Santa's renderers? (my head feels numb)
  • "Santa's renderers" is good. I wonder if Santa's rendered like cement or like Pavarotti's rendering of La Traviata?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
If towards the end of the 12 day comps, anyone sees a decent comp on a site that has been a pile of rubbish , can they drop a little note here, I have x off loads today as it's pretty dire. Eg win a hair brush, win false eye lashes, win false teeth holder.....then win a massive hamper of decent stuff.
  • This is my first year doing advents & I have to say i'm slightly disappointed. They are no where near as good as I thought they'd be & take up so much time it's hard to get anything else done. I've had 2 small Twitter wins the 1st & 2nd day but fingers crossed I get a decent one soon or I might give them up.

    Good luck everyone.

Maybe it's because Christmas is much less relevant now for consumer spending and a lot of the marketing budget goes into Black Friday and Cyber Monday instead.

Could be due to the rise in serial compers.
