Any further advice on hair extensions ??

Go and buy the clip in ones, much easier and just as effective :D

My daughter is training as a hairdresser and has them in all sorts of colours and mixes and matches the colours but sadly it hasn't stopped her dying her actual hair all sorts of colours!
  • I'm not sure how to put the clip in ones in + I doubt they'd last very long. If I'm going through the "hassle", I want a decent length of time out of the extensions whilst I'm waiting for my own hair to grow.

Tis worrying to think people could be going about with extensions missing at the back of their head  Does put me off a bit.

I used to own a babylis hair extension kit but never really used it.

I did own a pair of clip on hair extensions but they had a claw clip and my ex stod on them and broke the clip.

I wear hair falls now. :) They have elastic ties and are much easier on my hair. :)

    xx

My DD has worn hair extensions for about 4 years now, she buys them for a shop in Leicester which specialises in them. She pays around £25 - £30 (dependant on which brand) for them and it comes in a long weave...all you have to do is cut it to the right lengths and glue it in. They last for about 6 weeks and you can also get a bond remover which disolves the glue when you take them out.
She sometimes uses coloured clip in ones too which you simply clip on to the hair and you take them out at night.
They can all be washed, cut, straightened etc.
  • Not sure if anyone has answered this cuz I've not read all the way through - I used to wear real hair extensions, the hairdresser used to dye my hair and the extensions with the same dye and the colour was always fine.

I wouldn't recommend dying them yourself though
