But not a working phone, it seems.Well half a hour later and she isn't anywhere to be seen. I waited round for twenty minutes thinking she got lost. At half a hour I gave up, paid for parking to go find her. (my phone died) when I found her she was in the bank still doing whatever it was.0 -
Time to teach them a lesson then ! , stick to your guns next time and leave at the time that you've said that you would be .
Doesn't sound like much of a freind to me and having known people like this in the past I doubt very much that they've had the decency to offer petrol money !0 -
"I'm leaving at three, so if you want a lift home I'll see you here at three. Otherwise, I'll see you [next week at yoga, or whatever it may be]".
That makes it a simple matter of actions and consequences with the decision entirely in her hands - she's either waiting at your car at three, or if she isn't ready to leave then she can get the bus/taxi/walk home at a time that does suit her. No need for anybody to fall out, or be kept waiting.
But it sounds like you don't like her anyway, for lots of reasons. Don't wait for permission from the internet to stop being friends with her, if that's what you want to do, but there's no need to outright fall out with her unless drama's your thing. Gently cut her back to an acquaintance. This will lower your expectations of how much she (and you) should give - you may find you get along much better as a result.0
