    I use a cup of white vinegar on a hot wash to clean our DW

    Thanks - I think i'm going to 'go nuclear' this time and use a big bottle of finish cleaner but then do regulalr washes with white vinegar to keep it spick n span.

    I found that mine had been fitted with the waste pipe having to go really high up the wall to get to the o/s pipe (not sure if I've explained that properly:o).:o I kept getting dirty water left. I reduced the angle of the pipe and that helped a bit. I think the problem was that the water left in the pipe was draining back down into the d/w.

    normally use the finish cleaning things that go in the dishwasher but the yare quite expensive. anybody know a cheaper way?

    We have had a dishwasher for over 12 years and as far as I know it has never been cleaned.

    Do you "Clean" your washing machine?
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    I use washing soda to give my dishwasher a clean,i just put half a cup into the washer and run it as if doing a normal wash..hope this helps:-)

    We have never put Salt in our dishwasher (We live in a soft water area) but our neighbours say that we should.
