Soda crystals and vinegar on the hottest cycle with nothing else in there.

Keep it fresh by cleaning the filters and seals regularly (at least once a week depending on how much you use it.

I clean the seals, food trap & the inside generally once a week with my normal spray cleaner then pour a couple of tablespoons of bleach into a bowl & set it off on a hot wash. It keeps it fresh smelling & shiny.

I got some soda crystals last week and have done the washing machine on a hot wash with them in the drawer but have not used them in the dishwasher yet. HTH

I just pour some into the soap powder drawer, once I've taken it out & given it a good clean, instead of soap powder & set the machine off on a hot wash without any clothes in it. It works very well & helps with limescale if you are in a hard water area. HTH

The engineer when fixing my dishwasher told me not to bother buying the expensive cleaner, just clean the filters regularly and once a month pour one cupful of thin bleach into the empty dishwasher and run it on the normal cycle. He said this works as well as the expensive stuff.

Just discovered that my dishwasher hasn't emptied properly. The filter appears to be clear. Do you think it's worth putting it on a hot cycle with vinegar/soda crystals? We use the economy program a lot and I can only imagine it has greased up somewhere.
    Any other suggestions much appreciated.
    I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
