hi have you tried south african airways they seem to be coming out at about £200pp cheaper
Thanks - we did look at them but their prices were coming out at £5,800 for two of us return (£6,000 direct from SAA) instead of £3,900. If you have come accross them cheaper I would be interexted to hear where
Thanks again0 -

I'll be amazed if SAA come in cheaper for Business. Your BA fares are a special that expire early March (so take note!), and considerably cheaper than SAA and Virgin for a direct flight.
The only Business Class fare that is considerably cheaper is Emirates at around £3400 for the two of you. Of course it's a detour (hardly in a straight line London - Dubai - Cape Town) but it's business class, available, and saves you £500. Plus you get UK airport limo transfers (within mileage limitations) so you don't have to worry about parking etc.
Tickets available at all usual outlets...0 -

Yes, we know about the special offer fares...planning on booking it in the next 36 hours.
We have looked at Emirates, and as you say, we would save a few hundred pounds, but have to transfer and end up with a much longer journey.
I checked in the Chaufer drive too...only applies within 50 miles of the airport, so for us we would have to pay about £350 excess for it! - I think the train will be taking the strain for that part of the journey0
