Please please please can someone offer us a better quote than this? I am looking to book our holiday next year - we get set holidays starting on Saturday 19th July for 3 weeks Our first choice airport would be Manchester but we could also fly from Birmingham.

• The Quote itself: £2853.20
• Who the quote is from: Two adults and 1 child 3 years old
• Is there a booking fee: No
• The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: Direct Holidays
• Cancun Mexico
• The departure Airport/Post: Manchester
• The Holiday Dates: 14 nights, departing 23rd July 2008
• The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 3 child aged 3
• The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Hotel Barcelo Tucancun, Cancun Mexico
• The Board (self catering/half board etc): All inclusive
• Any specific requirements: Would Like a sea view if Possible.
• Is an in-flight meal included: Yes

Also i can get about £90 going through quidco, so if any of you travel agents out there can beat this price get back to me, if not I will be booking it in approx 7-14 days. Also we have 3 weeks of so can do any 2 weeks in those 3 but would rather do the first 2.

I was originally looking for a holiday to anywhere abroad with sunshine and some local flavour. My dates and airport are not flexible so after much looking i found the following:

Paphos, £309 per person (2 going), 7 nights, 25 August for 7 nights from Birmingham. Bed and Breakfast. transfers not included.
Hotel details: 100 m from beach, with pool, bars and 3 minutes from local harbour area.

i found this through Mercury Direct and then again through teletext where i managed to find it with some money off (but lost the transfers so actually no improvement)

Can anybody help?

Basically, what I want is at least 4 nights, and poss 5 or 6 nights. Must be back in manchester for sunday 14th morning at the latest ( prefer to be back sat), earliest can leave Manchester is 7/10 2.30 pm.

I didn't really care where I go, want at least 3 *, HB or AI close to beach and resort/ shops etc. doesn't have to be majorca, not bothered if its not too hot ( as i know i won't be in majorca). Not botheerd if its a bit rowdy but not ott , i'm only 26 but i just want to get away on my own for a few days to chill out. Pref under 200. Don't eant to hire a car which is why i chose resort above as is close to airport so need somewhere easyto get to from airport ( fine if by bus / train etc).
Can anyone beat the above? It seems ok but thought I might have got it for cheaper.

saveapenny what has happened whilst I was away for a few months.
I used to enjoy reading the old thread, I was able to help sometimes and found everyone grateful.
Even got some ideas for holidays of my own.
Time to get back to how it used to be...I off to the suggestions forum worked for can we have a gardening section:j
