  • Interesting topic.

I have a quote, flying from Belfast to Brisbane return in January 2007, taxes included for one adult of £725, somehow I dont think this quote will be beaten.

I may be looking for two or three tickets so maybe as a package this quote can be beaten.

  • Nice idea Martin.

It would work if the MSE'RS who post on here play the game. No one is editing messages as asked to say hol. now booked. No agent will waste time on helping people if no one can be bothered to do this one simple thing.

    I've replied to 5 quotes on here-one for a 'a late' going 5 days later-NOT EVEN AN E-MAIL/PM REPLY.

Some of my collegues have done the same. No replies back OR people get you to do a load of work & don't even call you back (even though we always say if you've had a better quote call us back!). Common courtesy-NOT.

I had someonce call me 'hi-I'm from the MSE boards'-did a load of looking-had to e-mail by a certain time/price/budget agreed-'will definately call you back tomorrow am'-NOTHING.

    Sava & Sloppy-you know ehat it's like-quote & not even a reply.

Sorry-until people on here take it seriously & stop mucking people aroung/pr post 'just to see what can be done'-NO agent will help. As I said earlier-not just me-collegues have tried on here & simply said 'what a waste of time'!

So...intil agents see people are taking this seriously-starting with being bothered to edit your text when you've booked-this thread is dead in the water.

If someone can beat the quotation that I have got I will have no reservations about displaying it here.

This is the holiday we want, the dates can be flexible up to a few days before or after. This is the best I can find but if anyone can find it cheaper we would really appreciate it.

    Thanks, purpplegirl.
  • I've been quoted £545 per person for 1 week all inclusive at the Dorado club resort including transfers etc, departing Gatwick on 3rd March 2008, by Thomas Cook. Can anyone beat it?

I'm serious! If you can beat my quote I'm very very likely to go for it!
  • Hi All, this is my first post, so here goes

PLEASE NOTE THIS HOLIDAY IS NOW BOOKED, THANKS TO THE PEOPLE THAT REPLIED WITH HELP, GREATLY APPRECIATED. WE FOUND ANOTHER HOTEL...£200 CHEAPER EACH.
    • The Quote itself: £859 each !!!!!
    • Resort - OCHO Rios, Jamaica
    • Who the quote is from:Thomas Cook
    • Is there a booking fee: No

    • The Board (self catering/half board etc): All inclusive
    • Any specific requirements:

    • It doesn't have to be this hotel but we want 4star, AI and it must be that week, too late to change dates now,.
I promise faithfully I will update this with 'Holiday booked' once I've done so as I realise it must be a pain to keep quoting for holidays long gone.

I agree this thread is a waste of time
This is going too hurt  ....we should go back to the old style quoting because this thread is just a waste of peoples posting time
Unless anyone knows different speak up
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
