I've been looking for 2 return flights to Auckland anywhere from mid November to earlier December for 2 weeks from London, but Manchester would work better. The best i can get is 828 pounds each, yesterday they were about 719 pounds each. Can any of you lot better what i've already found? I'm looking to book asap, but i would wait if some deals were in the pipeline.

Hello all,
I heard a little rumour that a cheap holiday can be had from the package companies by turning up at the airport and buying from them at the airport (so long as you don't mind what your destination is or if you have to wait a few hours). I realise this is only suited to a couple going on a holiday, but what I wanted to know was whether it's true? Has any body done this?

2 adults and a 2 yr old (25 months at departure). Quote from affordableflights.co.uk for bookings upto 31st July 08. we want to go 30th Jul 2008- 13th August 2008 (14 days).
