Is there a booking fee: Not sure/Yes, with credit card
The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: Thomson/ Thomson fly
    The departure Airport/Post: Gatwick
The Holiday Dates: 14 Sep 2008 (9.15AM) - 28 Sep 2008 (16.05PM, seem reasonable flight times so don't want to change them)
The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 4 Adults
The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Riu Cancun/4*
The Board (self catering/half board etc): All Inclusive
Any specific requirements: 2 window seats&sitting together, already included - but would like any upgrades for the flight and/or the hotel itself, if reasonable.
Is an in-flight meal included: Yes

Another edit: coach transfers to the hotel are included.

Thank you in advance anyone who can help, though there seems to be a backlog at the moment! Edit: Sorry; not a dig or moan; just a comment as I didn't realise quotes were sent by PM - probably should have guessed as there aren't replies to peoples questions! Doh.
    [/strike]

Thankyou to anyone who has spent any time looking at this for me, but friends were insistent we got it booked, so we have done - though we got it slightly cheaper than the above by phoning Thomson.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

Anyone who posts asking for a quote would not know if there was a backlog or not as all replies are to be done by pm and not on this thread.

    Hello all

I requested a 'beat my quote' a few days ago. As I haven't heard anything (and have now worked out how to check for a PM!) this must mean the quote could not be beaten.

Thank you so much to anyone who did try to beat the quote for me.

Nearly £700 is just too much so we have decided to choose a cheaper hotel. I have the following quote and am ready to book other than the last minute nerves of can I get it cheaper / will it sell out if I don't hurry up and make a decision!

Please, please, please let me know if you can beat this quote - as I said I am ready to book.

    Thank you

    The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: Thomson/Thomson/Hotel Riviera
    The departure Airport/Post: Gatwick
The Holiday Dates: Can depart on 26-30 June for 14 nights - this quote is for 29th
The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 2 adults
The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Riviera, Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol
The Board (self catering/half board etc): Half Board
Any specific requirements: Includes transfer, does not include 'sitting together'
Is an in-flight meal included: No
    The flight times for this quote are 16.30 - 20.20 29/06 and 21.20 - 23.05 13/07 so quote does include a late check-out room at £22.

    Pretty, pretty please :A

    Hi there.

I'm a bit new to this so apologies in advance for getting anything wrong. I usually look around the travel agents' sites and find a late(ish) deal between about 8 and 6 weeks to departure. Can usually get a nice hotel in mainland spain or island for 2 weeks half board at end of June for £400 or less.

This year we have decided on Costa Del Sol but everything seems pricey with even the worst rated hotels being over £500. Imagine this is because the Euro is strong? Even when I priced up last years' holiday for comparison it was more expensive.

The Riu Puerto Marina in Benalmadena looks beautiful so we're thinking if we have to pay more than usual, why not pay a bit extra for a really good hotel. If anyone can help me find this cheaper I would be so greatful. Thanks in advance

As close to £400 as you can get!!! :rotfl: No really, any good saving off £694 will be greatfully received.

Can someone tell me, will I receive any replies by PM? If so, how do I check these or do they go to my email address? Sorry for being thick
