    OP just thought but I noticed earlier at work we sell a pack of slicesof Leerdammer Toastie Cheese, maybe you could find this in the supermarkets near to you.

    Something like Feta (too crumbly??) or some supermarkets do a cheaper version called Greek salad cheese.Again I am not sure if that would grate well.

    What about white Cheshire cheese or Lancashire cheese?

    no feta is very soft, I need a very hard cheese
