I bought that cheese too, but it's not like normal cheese you put in your toast
it's very creamy, while the other it's stronger and melts when heated0 -

Ok, if you say which country you come from, we can usually point you in the direction of places that sell brands from that country, or similar uk variants0

is it Nuhaki, Kitrino or Bonnet?0

Basmati has the longest grain, but there are different grades.
Morrisons sell the "Amira" brand, which is good, but a smaller ethnic shop will have a better variety and usually cheaper.
I have never been to this one, but this is the kind of shop that sells the best rice. http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/ravi-food-stores-manchester
And this website tells you what the main supermarkets have in stock. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/0 -
Greece, but not sure it will help
Actually it does. Id say youre looking for karolina or nuhaki rice. Not readily available in big supermarkets, but basmati would be closest substitute depending on what you are making
Cheesewise. We dont really do ready sliced stuff in the uk, its a fairly new product (other than the orange burger cheese stuff). We prefer to have the option to cut it as thick as we like, off the slab. Although, if its the cheese im thinking of, then its similar to jarlsberg0 -
Lidl often do "Greek" product weeks , so maybe an idea to look out for their next one ( though I have no idea when that will be )0
