  • Helloooo, nice to see so many of my new friends from the flylady thread over here in GC!

I have just done my big weekly tsco order - £75.54, which is slightly under average. We went to the local coop and the one stop TWICE this weekend, and azda once, all for bits we needed - we were doing a lot of entertaining, and I kept realising I needed this or that. The coop is VERY expensive compared to tsco or azda, so we really need to stop those little trips throughout the week!

Tzco order was good, included dishwasher and laundry stuff, and cat food, so have stocked up on those. And lots of meals from the freezer planned this week, so that should (hopefully!) keep us on the straight and narrow...
  • A second NSD for me today but will need milk tomorrow. The trick will be in getting out of Tsco with just the milk.

Two ways of doing that. You could go to A*di or L*dl (cheaper anyway) or just take enough money for the milk and no card ;)

A very good (early) morning to all,

Since the 28th (start of my month) i've spent; 8.08 BM, 28.96 A!di, 10.74 Te$co and 3 Wi!ko. Total £53.09. Fridge, freezer and cupboards are full so hopinng not many more spends this week! Although I do need Potatoes, as I couldn't manage them as well as the 4 other LARGE bags I had on my mobility scooter. What a sight I must have been! http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/redface.gif

Meal plan to follow, but today is mushroom omlette, Ham salad, Chili and rice with fruit and yoghurt for pudding.

Have a great day all and hoping for low spends.

Hi I'm new to this forum.

We really need to get our spending under control. I am feeding 2 adults, 3 hungry teenage boys and 2 cats. I'm not entirely sure what we spent last month on food (but it was definitely too much).

For November I am aiming for £340

    Wish me luck

Thank you lynnejk it was the first of this month. Last month I managed (by the skin of my teeth!) to get 10/10, the last 2 days of October I had to stay strong and not go out at all!

Re. Italy, PM away! But do it quickly because I am off in a few days. Waiting to hear from you x

Today I need eggs so there will be some spend.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Can I join again please?

    £40 per week.

I have to stick to budget as we've had a drop in income.

Welcome to the challenge Effby4 :)

    Welcome Effyby4

Trying for another NSD today... 2 eggs left for hubby's lunch, I can have HM soup that I made the other day :D

Going to keep myself busy around the house today, usually when I'm bored I go for a walk around town and that only leads to spending :o
