someone else spotted the report to companies house detailing the 'voluntary insolvency' of all the shell companies a few weeks back on here and posted a similar thread. Looks like mobile today are exceptionally behind

  • What a surprise! (not!)...Mobile Today have now amended their headline and inserted an additional paragraph stating:

"The OneStop brand will continue to trade online and be advertised through newspapers, but the business will be taken on by sister company, e2Save. Part of the thinking behind the closure is the duplication of functions between the two businesses."

Methinks OSPS/CPW have had some very stern words to say to Mobile Today regarding careless reporting and the effect it could have had on their sales levels going forward. No doubt it had negatively impacted sales at all of the online CPW subsidiary sites.

It's about time CPW consolidated it's brands and businesses - surely the savings by taking out duplication will far outweigh the tax benefits of separate companies.....and better deals for us the customers to boot :D

I disagree. The offers DO vary between their sites and there are several ocassions where it's been of great benefit. Or would you rather they all ended up like their main site where the offers aren't very good?? Internal competition can be quite healthy and good for everyone. Let's face it; ALL their competitors are now total c**p so competition isn't as potent from them except for the naive and unwary or the seasoned professionals...
