you are so much like me in the feed back - its hard to see the good with just one negative thing
but go back over the conversation carefully and find your strengths - list them in great big words now focus on them and put yourself back in the postition that gave the bad feed back - what could you replied to the bad bits the bits that cut you deep
hope work is good today
now as the shopping I want you to do mine - HOW did you get all that for free - oreos you can keep but the crisps and the b adnd j I want
but look at your figures in your siggy just take those figures and work out the percentages and see just how well you have done = it breaks things down into 100 steps you will see great progress if you look at it in that way rather than seeing what to you in your minds are HUGE sums
Have a great day today is going to be hard for me - counselling day - BUT its a one off spend this month as I pay her monthly - but not only will it be mentally difficult I cant even claim it as a nsd - hope that makes you smile - oh and dh has the afternoon off - hope he doesnt spend when I am out:)

Dont let them get to you! You are doing your best and they know it. I bet you are good at your job. We all have bad days xxDebt (1/9/14) £6,702.11 Debt free (30/11/2016) mortgage port- £70,077.82 and mortgage £126,517.39 o/s currently

Thank you both so much! I am going to write a list of my strengths and start focussing on them. Part of the reason I haven't applied for training contracts in the past is because I lack confidence in myself.
Right free food... You need to download shopitize, checkout smart, click snap, top cash back and my supermarket onto your phone!
So the Oreos were £1.19 (I know you're not interested by I'm telling you anyway!) - on shopitize if you scanned barcode on oreos and took a pic of your receipt you get £1 cashback making them 19p (they're only 54p in Morrisons so you can actually make 46p but I don't have one near me - this is where Mysupermarket comes in so you can very simply check prices between the various supermarkets).
Crisps - offer on Checkout smart where you got the price of them back in cash back - so they were 99p but after cashback they're free. (Also similar deal on Click snap but cant upload same receipt/deal on both checkout smart and clicksnap but can buy them again on a separate receipt and claim the deal)
B&J ice cream - on offer in MrT for £2.24 plus £1 off coupon from fairtrade foundation plus £1.70 cashback through shopitize - 46p profit (think it's cheaper in Morrisons but again I don't have one near me)
Plus you get a penny for every receipt you upload to checkout smart.
So 28p profit in total!
It really isn't as complicated as it sounds I promise you! If you're on facebook - like groups such as extreme couponing uk and they often point out where things are free if you use these apps.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Oh and the feedback was that I'm "a hurdle to overcome who cant answer even a simple question"! Hurtful! But it's actually not my fault! The client has requested that all work comes from/is checked by my boss - so I'm actually not allowed to directly answer a simple question! I'll do all the leg work and have it signed off by my boss (and normally I am right or at least on the right track - not being big headed!) but then the response to the client comes from her!
Yesterday I was gutted initially but actually based on the above I'm ok with it now, but still worried about the client going else where.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

dont panic - and do your VERY best job and it will show your boss how good you are and that it is the client being difficult - which will reflect well as it will show how good your work is and that you actually handled the client correctly and its just them
which I am sure it is
look at your last review and see what all your strengths were then and see if what the client is say is accurate - remember if they are not hearing what they want to they will get picky and the problem is we live in a culture that says the client is right = but that cant and isnt trueEmergency fund £10,000

And you most certainly DO belong on the DFW board, you are a debt free wannabe afterall, its wonderful to read such a positive and upbeat diary, its encouraging, I'm sure October will agree
Please stay!
I totally agree!!!
Sorry I haven't been around. Been getting caught up in broken things and illnesses.
Twiggy, you are amazing and your positivity really helps me and probably many others. I come and read your diary and love how well you are doing. You come up with some genious ideas and always willing to help others out.
Please don't think for a minute that we would want you gone! I am hoping that you will continue your diary even when you are debt free. I know Lilt is debt free but she saves and budgets with the rest of us.
Keep doing what you are doing and I cannot say how proud I am of you for getting as far as you have in such a short time!
Have a fab day Hon,
October xx0 -
