Interesting accident, whose fault should this be?

Lane splitting refers to a two-wheeled vehicle moving between roadway lanes of vehicles that are proceeding in the same direction. More narrowly, it refers to overtaking slow or stopped vehicles by traveling between lanes.
Using the lane of opposing traffic is not going between lanes, it's using another lane to overtake.0

Car is at fault. They caused the accident by not noticing the biker.
The impact from the accident was made worse however by the bikers speed.
As the car driver was looking the other way whilst pulling out though it's likely the accident would have still happened (but with less impact) if the biker was traveling slower. All your base are belong to us.0

If it was a car OVERTAKING, everyone would be screaming he's a crazy !!!!!
But a car wouldn't do it, they'd realise the traffic was stopped for a reason, and not OVERTAKE.0

I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt regarding your diatribe in the prior paragraph, but the one quoted above is patently and completely wrong - I SAID NOTHING OF THE SORT!
THIS is what I said ...Based solely on what can be seen .... The biker is mostly at fault - he overtook across chevron lines, and did not seem to consider why the cars in front (in both lanes of his carriageway) were going slowly. From an insurance perspective I don't think it'll be 100% assigned blame though.
The previous biker in the video was also in the wrong, but got away with it.0

Next you'll be posting links that confirm you are wrong.
Not sure how it helps your argument doing that, is a bizarre method I can't see catching on.0

The Highway Code Rule 167 applies to ALL drivers and riders:
DO NOT overtake where you might come into conflict with other road users. For example- approaching or at a road junction on either side of the road

I did broach this subject - not sure if it's a junction, or car is emerging from a driveway or similar??
As I've said, nearly had a few bikers over my bonnet who've been overtaking (that's filtering to our special friends) when I've been turning right out of cul-de-sac.0
