Mr (or Ms) Right exists. Mr (or Ms) Perfect doesn't.
Totally agree with this. Mr Perfect would never be Mr Right for me, way too boring and also too much pressure to be Mrs Perfect too

I had people keep telling me this. Usually people who had found their OH.trailingspouse wrote: »You don't get a turn.
You have to push yourself to the front of the queue.
After 9 awful lonely years I realised the 'least expect it' advice was a load of old tosh and went out and found my OH by advertising in a national newspaper (in the days before internet dating). We would never have met if I hadn't pushed it to happen.Make £2026 in 2026

Yeah I too used to get really annoyed at the 'it will happen when you least expect it' because I thought I had already stopped expecting it but it did happen when I REALLY had given up hope

Me too. I was trying to not expect it, but a tiny part of me still was, and it never happened. Then I gave up, and began to imagine my future on my own. Not long after that it happened! (could all be coincidence though)0
