These ones go into an exhibition for sale for local art scool for autistic children proceeds to be shared between art school and Help the Heros.
You can't see sides of the canvas but I have red ribbon round the recess.
Our art teacher grew up about 10 miles from Flanders.

If I ever put up a piece you like please ask and can recreate you something similar.
The poppies I love as acrylics so can be heavy handed and slosh about a bit in paint. Originally it was going to have blood dripping down the canvas but decided my take on it might not be very saleable.
For locals the sale is at Bethendan village hall next sat/sun 10-4pm
I can take phone bids;)

Seriously a lot of seriously disabled adult benefit greatly from art and music and this is my art teachers preferred choice of classes. She does us to keep her going until the council pay up.

Been away on a weeks residential and then to Comic con in London. (Saw the Poppies at the Tower of London too. Really sad we were too late to buy one).

This may sound strange but I'm glad its Monday and looking forward to work where I can relax more than I can here. Our house guest is still here and depleted all but 2 of my Ocean Sprays so I need to replenish them after work Thank god he will be gone when I get back :j


Before I go I must remind OH not to invite his mum round as this is the first chance in 4 days I'll be able to relax properly. Looking forward to watching Grantchester at 9pm and I don't want any interruptions

Thanks for this Mrs B. I usually run a project at school to fill boxes. This year we will fill about 13 boxes, but it has been difficult to find material which is not overly Evangelical to include in lessons! This could be a better option for next year.
