Oh, I'm annoyed now!
I've just noticed that as well as all that, the hair accessories I got that were rtc, to work as fillers (hopefully) all scanned through at full price!!!!
£1 each instead of 10p each!!!
Is it too late for me to do anything about that?Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -

Till didn't pick up the multibuy, so the SA got someone to do a price check for me, who came back saying that even though they were both showing 3for£5 I couldn't mix and match so it would have to be 3 of the same products to count.
Idiot that I am, I got the SA to take them all off the bill (rather than keeping the shower gel, and getting a 3rd to get the multibuy), which meant that the carefully constructed OS shop I had put together no longer showed up on APG because I didn't have enough different items!
One of these days, I'll actually get an APG shop right. :rotfl:

I bought some cheap sandwich tins from Homebase for about £1.50 each and they've been absolutely perfect. I had a lot of problems turning out cakes using a giant cupcake mould but I started using Dr Oetker's cake release spray and never had a problem since. Honestly could not recommend it enough and it lasts for bloody ages
Massive hugs to Gocat, Dip, Locarr and Strewth :grouphug: x
I agree the cake release spray is brilliant PD. I'm not a huge fan of the moulds I have, think they stick a bit more.Tiger

I've just recently been given a baking book which I loooove! :j It's the Hummingbird Bakery book 'Home Sweet Home'. I've just checked and it's on Amazon for £5 which I think is a bargain. I've a few baking books but I thought this one was a bit different with loads of really interesting cupcakes and cookies rather than the traditional victoria sandwich.
Thank you very much. I shall purchase this together with the flower plunge cutters already recommended by PD
Thank you everyone else for your ideas too. I shall have a nice little baking hamper for her in no time at all :T:beer::jSmiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Did that last time. Problem is I cannot resist eating them. I almost put myself into a diabetic coma last time I ate them so fast, not to mention the fact that one of the chewy bars managed to take half a filling with it.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -
Ring up the store direct (or CS) and they will both say that you should go to CS next time you are in.. Take the products back just in case the rtc SEL isn't on, and then ask for a refund.apocryphal wrote: »Oh, I'm annoyed now!
