It would cost less in the long run. I used to work with an MP's daughter… she regularly took her friends on all expense paid trips to London. There is justice as her father received a prison sentence for his fraud.

Have people forgotten the MP expenses scandal? Evidently. Don't you all remember they were decorating their second homes with taxpayer money? That actually happened!

It's not the basic wage I disagree with so much, more the fact that they're claiming the public purse can't support an increase in wages for those doing the most vital of jobs. But it can support an increase in their wages and any miscellaneous expenses they might have.

A point well-made SFSB I won't be saying owt to get myself banned.
