this list does not look so bad - is it the CASTROL GTX 10/40 2L or the MONKEY FLAG TEE GREY
that would really really annoy your OH?

I know DeeDee, that's why I worded my post very carefully and always said 'people on benefits', not 'unemployed people'.

Even in my muggle days with me and my wife both working and having 2 young children, we never, ever spent £179 on one shop. And, when money was tight (just like it should always be for people who receive state benefits), we shopped around for the best deals.

I think what I am saying is that I find it hard to see how someone on any kind of income based benefit can a) spend so much cash at one sitting and b) spend 8 quid on something that 95% of people reading this post would think incredibly extravagant.

Yeah I know you said benefits but People always jump on that's an unemployed person as soon as benefit is mentioned.
Everyone with kids get child's tax credit & child benefit unless you earn over what 50 grand or something like that? So half the country at least get benefits, working people forget that.

These balls aren't just balls there life changing fabness :p I've bought them ok not for full price or owt RTC but all the same there lush you need not conditioner.
Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
    I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds

Perhaps they were doing someone else's shopping in with their own?
Perhaps the person doing the shop 'acquired' the vouchers?
Perhaps the person with the vouchers gave the vouchers to someone else and said 'will you get my milk/veg for me as I can't get out this month'

We don't know the full story, could be loads of reasons
