I've been knocking 5ft and 6ft posts into the ground today. Using a post whacker/rammer thing, which was heavy and hard work  but the posts for my fruit bed are in now :D

I'd post pics but photobucket is being stupid

Dont know anything about gardening or posts as such but dh is a fencer I have watched him putting up fences and he just digs a smallish hole for the post to sit into and then files it with quick set concrete May save you a bit of effort or may be rubbish info I dont know.

I got a safety recall letter a couple of months ago about my cooker (which is about 6 years old). They are going to come out and do something to it so that you cant have the grill on with the door closed, as it somehow gives off carbon monoxide gas. So yes, open please :D

I always cook with my grill door open, I had the same letter and they came and did mine two weeks ago. Took two screws out and replaced with two spacer screws. I was panicking a little cause I thought that the grill door was going to be constantly open just a little, and it would really get to me if it did not sit right, but to be honest you can't tell.

Mine is very alcoholic, soaked the fruit in half a bottle of brandy. All the brandy was gone and had some very plump fruit, so look forward to tasting it at Christmas!

Working people get child tax credit to not just unemployed people.
I know DeeDee, that's why I worded my post very carefully and always said 'people on benefits', not 'unemployed people'.

Even in my muggle days with me and my wife both working and having 2 young children, we never, ever spent £179 on one shop. And, when money was tight (just like it should always be for people who receive state benefits), we shopped around for the best deals.

I think what I am saying is that I find it hard to see how someone on any kind of income based benefit can a) spend so much cash at one sitting and b) spend 8 quid on something that 95% of people reading this post would think incredibly extravagant.
