    Thanks guys :D

    Nice to see you both.

The family seem to be a little better now thankfully! We've been out to a Christmas tasting day this morning at a local farm shop, yum!

Spent more than planned, but have also ordered the Christmas turkey and paid a deposit on that, so it won't be so painful nearer the time.

A couple more sales overnight so I should be able to make another small payment soon. :T

    Hey everyone.

Been off car booting this morning, a tad chilly! I didn't buy anything though :A

Came home and have put a casserole in the slow cooker - should be enough for 2 meals, so will freeze one.

Also made up a cottage pie so we can have that later in the week.

I've just accepted the free listing offer and used up all those listings. I've also decided to pay once more for the rest of them in the hope that I might sell some in the run up to Christmas.

I've sorted a few things to get listed, and pulled off a couple of bits and will put them together to sell as a bundle.

We are having a book sale at work this week for Children in need. I've pulled out a few decent ones from the car boot box, and want to finish off two I've started so that I can add them too.

I shall have to try and resist buying any more, I've got way too many as it is!

This afternoon I have been decluttering :D

I've deleted a few things from the laptop, so should free up quite a bit of space.

I've also been watching things on the you view box so I can empty that a little bit. Decided to watch the film 'abduction' which I recorded last Christmas. Little jwil doesn't often take much notice of the tv but whilst this was on, he was laughing hysterically at every fight scene :o. I'm hoping I'm not breeding a psychopath  I'll have to be more picky about what I watch. I much prefer it when he's dancing along to Strictly :D

I've photo'd a few things to put on ebay, and listed a couple of bits for DH. I've also done all our relists.

Going to try and get a couple of things on my account now before stopping for the evening, and I'll try and finish the book I'm reading (The one from the other, Phillip Kerr). Quite enjoying it.

I've redeemed a £10 amazon voucher from a survey site today, so that will go towards Christmas pressies.

I'm pretty close for a couple otherwise, so I must try and do the surveys promptly so that I can redeem those too.

I might try for some Sainsburys vouchers as well which will help towards the grocery shop.

I managed to get 5 lots up on ebay in the end. I've sold 2 items so far tonight, and have bids on 2 items ending later. It would be nice to get a bit more but I don't think I will. It does mean though that I will be able to make another payment tomorrow once everything's posted.

  • Good to hear all going well in jwil houshold and little jwil is ok.

You're doing incredibly well with your selling and paying down your debts. You'll get there. I've nothing left to declutter so haven't sold on bay of e for ages. Debts are going down though. Cleared on CC, ran it up again but have cleared again and it's been that way for over a year now. O/D is down and now stands at £2000 and still one pesky CC but have reduced from £14,000 down to 9,800. Also now have some savings for car tax, mot etc and emergencies.

Hi jwil. Just been catching up with your new diary.
I've lost my mojo for a few months myself and hardly posted. :(
I'm still trying to sort my stuff out and it's very hectic at home too.
Good luck with your diary. You're doing really well so far! Well done :T

Hey retired :) Thank you very much. Well done on clearing the CC (twice!) It sounds like you've made fantastic progress with clearing your debt and getting some savings, especially with everything else going on as well. That's great news :T
