    Thanks tattycath :)

I've been trying to catch up on surveys. I have also sold a couple more bits overnight, so have made another couple of small payments.

Looking forward to some time off as well.

    Hope everyone is well :)

I have cut up two credit cards :T :T

I've been very nervous about doing so because I keep using them, but decided it's time to bite the bullet. The accounts are now closed, so I just need to pay them off. They are not my top priority as it's still my loan, but at least they should be heading downwards now and not staying around the same balance the whole time. _pale_

    Well done jwil! :T:T:T
I don't have any credit cards. I have an overdraft facility, but don't use it. It's for emergencies!

Thanks tattycath. It still leaves me with 3 :o but the two cut up are the two with the biggest balances. I'm thinking of doing another one, but will wait a month or two before I do.

I think I'd like to keep one eventually so I can use it for emergencies and big purchases to get the protection. I don't want to have an overdraft but that will be the last thing I tackle. If I have an overdraft, I think the temptation is just to live in it for me, so I'll get rid.

My overdraft came with my bank account. I have a couple of accounts at different banks with the facilty. I keep getting asked if I want a credit card...but I don't know. About 10 years ago I was in a mess with my credit card. :o so I got rid of it and haven't had one since.

You've got to do what's best for you. For me, an overdraft is easier to use than a CC as I always carry my debit card, but don't carry my credit cards. I obviously can't be trusted with credit cards either  but hope to be much more sensible when I'm debt free.
