Hey everyone
Didn't get an awful lot done yesterday, decluttered some books and magazines and not much else!
Not sure today is going to be any more productive though it should be.
I've packed an ebay sale for DH, and going to drop it at the post office today. They've recently started opening on a Sunday so that will save me having to do it on the way to work tomorrow.
I've also accepted the free listings on DH and my ebay accounts, so will use those for relists.
We didn't go booting this morning as DH has hurt his back, and I couldn't be bothered in the cold. We will probably go and have a look at a local one later, but we're not keen on it so probably won't buy anything.
Little jwil suddenly seems to be growing out of his clothes again, so I need to sort through those and see what we need to replace.
Dh and I both have a few items selling today, so hoping those will go up and we'll clear some more.
I might have a look through the ebay boxes and see if I can reorganise them and condense things a little.

Good morning jwil.
I've got loads of stuff to sort and sell. I've just accepted the free listing offer too.
I took some clothes to c@sh for clothes the other day and she was rather snotty and said she didn't have time to sort them but we could leave them with her and go back the next morning for the money...I don't know why but I got an untrusting feeling about it all so I brought them all home again. It seems to have gone down to 40p a kilo anyway!
So, (as they have now been in my car for about 4 days) I'm going to sort them out-a bag at a time, and any that I think are worth selling; i will re-wash and stick on eb@y. I will stick the rest in a charity clothes bank.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Quite right too - snotty people do not deserve any business or attention. I will NEVER understand what makes people think they have the right to be snotty under any circumstances.
I hope you said something along the lines of 'Yah boo, sucks to you' and stuck your tongue out before flouncing out.0 -

The thing about kids is that they will insist on growing up so fast. In a few years time you will accidentally come across clothes that little Jwil is wearing now and wonder at how he could have been small enough to fit inside them. Also, in about ten years time, make sure you have a BIG fridge because I can tell you now that teenage boys are unfillable (sorry, jumping ahead a bit there :rotfl:.)
I have had a fairly lazy morning but am shortly about to tidy up the kitchen then head out to the garden for a few hours. It's cold but lovely and sunny and I have a massive amount of work to do before I can launch myself headlong into the lovely business of growing things.0 -

Thank you.
No, I said nothing. Her being snotty said a lot more about her than it did about me.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

That is so rude! Hope you get decent money for them and at least a deserving charity will benefit too!peaceandfreedom wrote: »The thing about kids is that they will insist on growing up so fast. I'm dreading the teenage appetite
I keep finding the bits of clothing I kept from when he was little. I already can't believe how small he was!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

I sold a few things overnight. Most of the money has been allocated elsewhere, but I have managed to make a small payment so pleased with that.
Can't wait til payday though!
I will try and get some more listed this week as well.
I used all my free listings yesterday, and have sold a few things I relisted already so I'm very pleased about that.
I've caught up with most surveys again today, still got a few.
Had a nice surprise from the postie today - some thank you cards I won in a competition, some deodorant to test and a free razor!
All will come in very handy.
I also got my amazon parcel of things I ordered the other day, so that's good, and I finally have a new hairbrush :T My current one I've realised I've probably been using for 20 years now  and it's falling apart, so was a desperately needed buy."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Oh, I forgot to do the squats over the weekend. There was supposed to be a rest day, but it turned into 2! I'm better at this stuff Mon-Fri anyway as I'm usually pretty active at weekends.
So I'm back on it today and have done the allocated 70.
Also done some girly push ups and some bingo wing exercises."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well done jwil!
Well, I started off great this morning, but by lunchtime I felt awful and at 1.45 I gave in and had a lemsip and went back to bed for a couple of hours. I slept-so I must have needed it.
I do feel better for having had extra sleep, but hoping I feel much better after a good nights sleep...on the downside, this means I didn't get half as many jobs done as I intended.
On a positive note Mr tc is out on business tomorrow so I should get a lot more done in a lot less time than if he were here!men seem to have a great habit of getting under your feet-well, my man always seems to manage it. I love him dearly, however... Lol
