You are doing so well with your decluttering.
I am going to do some ebaying this afternoon. I have met my decluttering 100 items a month from Jan - March. It's getting harder now so April will be a challenge.
Though we do want to hire a van to sort out the shed and garage - I'm reckoning on at least 2000 items in these two places alone!
Good luck with the car boot sale - I have helped me mum on some in the past but never done one myself. I hope you make a nice bit of money and the weather is dry to tempt those buyers out to spend some cash!
Those totals are going down nicely too - well done you!

Thanks OF, well done on meeting your challenge and good luck with the shed and garage!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well I did the boot sale, not the greatest, but more gone so that's good.
I've been a busy bee today. I've emptied the porch and washed down all the walls and windows. It's very damp and mouldy out there, and I've not done it beforeIt looks way better! It's still tatty but looks clean and bright. It's still full of clutter and I didn't completely finish everything as little miss got up, but I'm very pleased.
Whilst I was there I also washed down the stairs (no carpet) so they look much fresher too.
I've also sorted out a huge load of baby clothes. Some is to go straight to recycling, some to my friend if she wants them. The rest I am contemplating just sending to charity as I'm not sure I can be bothered for the small amount I will get for them.
Pleased with all that!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

You have been busy.
I used an electric drill for the first time yesterday and put up a curtain rail. How did I get to 66 and never used a drill 0 -

Thanks abba - I want to see how much I've got rid of by the time I go back to work, so that's why I'm listing.
Well done on everything you've got rid of though!retiredandskint wrote: »You have been busy.

Thanks retired. Well done you! Hope it went well. I've never used a drill either, they scare me!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
A small payment made today as I've had a few small sales.
DH has some bits going out later so hoping to clear some more.
Managed to get one item listed, but have had visitors today and again tomorrow so not much time. DH has a load of stuff prepped so I need to get this on for tomorrow.
We are trying to get a leak on our roof fixed. Not one bloody roofer has got back to us. Appreciate it's only a small job, but we've got a lot more needing doing in the future which may require their services   "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Another few calls made and no response still  "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
We've been busy bees for the last few days. DH has made some more progress in the kids bedroom and has also started tackling his huge piles of magazines and newspapers.
No car booting this weekend, did go and look but didn't buy anything.
Little jwil has got to have an operationOnly a minor one, but still. Just waiting for a date to come through now.
Today I've sorted out two big boxes of stuff. Have a box for ebay, a big bag for charity and a bag for car boot. Pleased as that has cleared a space that has been annoying me!
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
