some group mods will only let you post a wanted after you have offered, other are not that fussed.
was it for a 42" plasma tv with bracket and delivery though?:D

Don't be silly, it was for a 60" Plasma with a sky HD box, with a years subscription :p:rotfl:

Have to confess - have just eaten a chocolate eclair :o

    Just in -
    Hi all,
I know this is a long shot but, does anyone have a garden shed
they no longer require. I,m not going to give a long sob story but, if
you have a shed will you consider me for it please.
    Many Thanks.

There've been a few sheds on offer recently. Always nice not to have to plough your way through a long sob story! Seems a pleasant enough request to me. This person's also offered lots of stuff on freecycle, so hope he gets fixed up.

Phew, is there any more tea left in that pot?

Local Freecycle Café is a bit hard going today, with an argument about mooncups. Or rather, an argument about discussion of them.

    And on Freecycle itself
reoffered, low (approx 39"high) fence panels x 2
    and full size fencing posts.
all used, but in fair condition.
collect soonest please from Reading Road Blackwater

or Im having a bonfire on Monday!

    Thanks *****. With me being a ***** owner/driver, I was really looking
forward to meeting you. But you're not bothering to contact me, means
these panels are now available for someone who could really use them
    perhaps.

    and this

i have a pink canvas beside cabinet available, complete with 1 drawer and a
    shelf underneath.

this is re-advertised due to time wasters, so only genuine ppl apply please,
that r going to turn up to collect.

does this mean you know how we felt when you stood us up a few months ago? Maybe you remember. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday. We would have loved to go out, but we waited patiently for you all day. You didn't bother to phone or email to say you weren't coming. Funny how getting stood up changes your view, doesn't it?

I think everybody's a bit frayed at the edges.

How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.

    Hi Jane

Here's a :coffee:and bones is searching for the choccy biccies.

I've joined a couple of the freecycle cafes but mine are pretty quiet. Its mostly been introductions and snippets of life stories, nothing much else really.
They do sound a frayed lot in that group of yours - just goes to show that its not just us who've been let down in the past!

Just took another peek - lots of 'my name's xxxxx and I live in xxxxxx I enjoy xxxxx' sort of stuff.
I'm debating whether or not to go in and say 'my name's Pam and I'm a freecycle-oholic' ;)
