If you run(i.e. have them heating up as opposed to just giving out the stored heat) storage heaters during the day there is no more expensive way of heating.
They are designed to heat up during the 7 hours of nightime electricity on Economy 7(assuming you have this tariff) and release heat during the day.
See your landlord.
It eventually got to the point where they needed to be on constantly otherwise the heat would not release from them and last the day.... Could there be a problem with them?0
