Dedicated attack on server 13/10 04:30

Looks like someone has decided to attack MSE for the removal of their spam posts about cheap kitchens.
Main culprit seems to be this poster, who was the first to post.

I count 7 new members all posting the same thing all over the boards which are now flooded with them.
I am not chasing them down to click the spam button as due to the numbers being posted, I can't keep up with them.
Now 12 new members posting in this attack (04:50)

I have sent the story of this attack to Jezza Vine, I wonder if he will mention it or get in touch with Martin0

I've been hitting the spam button too. But I've given up, they're posting faster than I can click. Maybe they'll implode from all that rage they can't seem to get rid ofBulletproof0

it took the forum offline for 20 minutes0

Hundreds of these posts all over the forum then along comes some clever diks and bumps the threads by posting 'spam reported'
As if we didn't already know that it was spam0 -
Why do people do that?
I've looked at some of the spam posts, the highest view count I can find is 29. If everyone who'd viewed had clicked the spam button, surely the post would've disappeared? Why aren't people clicking?Bulletproof0 -
There is even a board guide bumping the threads up instead of just removing them0
-
Just bumping this up today's posts list0

Someone from MSE Towers needs to get out of bed and get in here to put a stop on new members joining the forum, virtually everyone that has joined since 4:30am has been spamming non stop.0

is anyone on Twitter that can send a message to Martin?0
