Glad it isn't just me then as I was starting to go through my computer settings thinking i'd changed something.

Weirdly though if you click quote button to reply the actual text is displayed in the reply box rather than this gobbletygoop

So he's also been charged with driving without insurance? Was there a reason why the police didn't verify the insurance status? They can and do call insurance companies directly to verify when the car isn't showing on the motor insurance database

If, he was insured as you stated, the police would have confirmed it. So it begs the question, why not?

there was a spam attack yesterday by a disgruntled person, MSE tightened the spam filter but it knocked out everyone sig posts due to the swear filter also being upped people had to go into userCP sig and resave it to correct it.

Your boyfriend has been charged with a criminal offence. You need to speak to a lawyer, not an internet forum.

The worst that could happen is that he could go to prison, though that's unlikely.

So he should find a lawyer as soon as possible.
