    Hope this helps.

I am in the process of thinking about bedroom curtains and decorating and quite fancy a heather colour on the walls but that is by the by.

To help me get an idea how a room might look I usually google for ideas.

I googled for your 'teal bedroom ideas' and it gave me lots of ideas. There are loads of great ideas on pinterest as well.

I also look around all the shop websites e.g. Laura Ashley, Wilkinsons, Argos,Asda George, Next, John Lewis etc. as they all seem to have ideas using their own furniture and bedding. You don't have to buy their stuff but you can get an idea of what you want. I will be looking on my local market once I get an idea of what I want. I got a great pair of curtains with matching cushions for my living room for £31.:)

Make sure you come back and show us what you did with lots of photos.

Thanks I will try searching that - i kept searching Teal and taupe curtains to no real avail!

I'll try and show what we chose - the one harder thing I didn't think of was trying to get my OH to agree to some! Shown him all and he's practically vetoed them all! I think Cream ones would be nice in our purple and cream room, totally going to work on him for the striped oned for the teal haha

IKEA has some fairly strong purple ones and at £40, wouldn't break the bank. And also some teal type colours too. Depends also on whether you want rails and hooks or poles and rings or poles and eyelets. And also how handy you'd be to make/ alter some

Teal/ taupe can come up with a lot of different ideas about what they are. Teal type colours might be under blue or green equally
