So it is fair enough to ask you about yours. You don't have to give private info away, just stick to percentages, mine are:
2% cash
9.5% DB pension
19% shares
20% home
49.5% investment property
I have heard it is common to troll forums with fake "back stories", with a view to promoting one outcome or another, so anyone on here could post any nonsense about their "portfolio" to remain in character. As I have said, beyond what is posted my finances don`t need to be discussed. I did mention that I am debt free, and consider "wealth" as how many months/years a person could live without working, not how many mortgages they hold.0 -

What on earth are you going on about?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Was only asking about your wealth preservation strategy rather than the location of your Canadian Maples.
Fair enough - you looked a bit daft when you were showing off about your accommodation history. Best not make the same mistake again. Must have come as a bit of a surprise after all your time on HPC when people questioned your approach using logic and maths.0 -

Still not sure what you are on about, accommodation has been cheap for many over the years, the rent stories you hear in the media are B.S, what is it you don`t get? If you want a wealth preservation strategy for the present, well it might as well be cash IMO because we are in deflation mode.0 -

Do you read English, or does someone do your posts for you?0 -

Yes but the English has to make sense, unfortunately you do not, but I shouldn't have expected anything else from you. I'm amazed at my own optimism, expecting anything different.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Tell them to post something interesting please.0 -

I think my error was assuming that making your money work for you might be of interest to you, obviously not, you only have to look at your previous posts to realise that. Your speciality seems to be making your money not work for you.
I'm not even sure if you understand what is going on around you when you come up with foolish comments such as these:Crashy_Time wrote: »I have heard it is common to troll forums with fake "back stories", with a view to promoting one outcome or another, so anyone on here could post any nonsense about their "portfolio" to remain in character.
As there are only about an average of less than 20 people on this forum board most of the time, who on earth do you imagine is trying to promote what to whom?Crashy_Time wrote: »consider "wealth" as how many months/years a person could live without working, not how many mortgages they hold.
What sort of a measure of wealth is that? Where a tramp living rough would be judged wealthier than a someone with numerous properties that have an average 10% LTV mortgage?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Or benefit scroungers who have never worked in their lives.0 -
because we are in deflation mode
Can you explain what you mean by that.
For prices we still have inflation - CPI 1.2%0
