Being accused of intimidation & bullying

  • Go to the meetings etc. and put your story forwards without any slant, just as it happened.

Until you know the full story of what you are accused off and what the firm thinks after the investigation there is no way to know what the outcome could be.

For all we know the firm *know* that her complaint is invalid and are just doing due diligence to put it to rest and there may not be any resulting outcome on you at all.

I agree with Shadow Puma. I also note that you've commented in a previous post that you feel it shows her up as unprofessional. I would not make any comment of that kind in the meeting. Stick to what you know as fact e.g.
"colleague and I did arrange to swap who did what. This is quite common, it is not specific to tasks set by manager. Before the incident in July I had not ever been told that we should not do this, and had not been given any indication that any of the supervisors objected"
"supervisor shouted and me to tell me now to swap. I was shocked and upset at being shouted at for something I did not know was wrong"

Also (it may seem obvious) listen to the questions you are asked and make sure you answer the question you are actually asked, not the one you thought would be asked.

Before the meeting, check you employees handbook or office manual to see what the policy is for meetings of this kind - you may be able to have a colleague accompany you if you want.
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)
