Left VF in June, sadly they've become a joke, a pathetic one.

They've completely lost the place in the UK, more interested in dealing in £billions buying and selling companies in various far flung parts of the world. Meanwhile, their UK business is going down the pan.

I just can't top up with vodafone at all and I have mine and my sons and daughters phone with them too. It's just ridiculous. I've been with vodafone for years and years have never known it like this.

Vodafone have to be the worst mobile phone network of 2014. The staff are uncooperative and unknowledgeable. Maintenance and technical department do not respond. The Vodafone shop workers can not solve issues and promise they will sort out your problems and do not. Appalling behaviour from such a large company. Complaints do not work and now I can't get a code to unlock my iPhone.

    Hi LMK1,

If you still need help with this, email me with your details via the link in our profile here.

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me, quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line.

Once sent, you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Post back with this and I’ll check I've received it.

Totally agree - avoid at all costs. I've been paying (unknowingly for 2 extra accounts) for two years. The customer service is beyond terrible and there is hardly any reception! Also the site is a joke and pretty useless.

Have a look at their facebook page for further complaints.

    Hi BubbleBomb,

So I can take a closer look at this, please email me via the contact details provided above.

I am the official company representative of Vodafone. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"
  • I totally agree. After moving into a new house, which is in the centre of a city (Aberdeen) I had no internet or phone signal. When I phoned and explained this to them, they informed me that sometime in the future they would be upgrading and putting more masts up in my city. How that was meant to help me in the mean time I don't know. Luckily I was at the end of my contract so I have now moved to 3 where I get full signal.

Vodaphone kept contacting me asking what they could do to keep me as a Customer and did not seem to understand that there was no point in having a phone that I could not use.

Hi Guys. Such as shame to hear your stories as i had come onto MSE to look at the possibility of coming to VF. Only network never with but always seen decent reviews (or maybe not) . Plus in recent days, VF appear to have worked closely with the armed forces ie H4H, which is very close to my heart. I am currently with giffgaff, but not happy with download speeds etc. I also need to tether alot more as and when. I have been with orange and O2 before and left them as they hit a nerve to say the least! Oh well...

Well I bought a 3g Playstation Vita which included a Vodafone sim card, which didn't work, I went to the Vodafone store they said I would need a special sim for it, which they didn't have in and I would have to go back where I bought the Vita (Argos)I go there and get sent back to Vodafone and get the same story.

Frustrated at this point I go to Three, get a data only sim, slip it in my Vita and it works flawlessly once the apn is sorted out. I send Vodafone a tweet and they say any sim would have worked, I would have just needed to select the right apn.

Yeah I'm avoiding Vodafone like the plague.
