Avoid Vodafone
Vodafone have to be the worst mobile phone network of 2014. The staff are uncooperative and unknowledgeable. Maintenance and technical department do not respond. The Vodafone shop workers can not solve issues and promise they will sort out your problems and do not. Appalling behaviour from such a large company. Complaints do not work and now I can't get a code to unlock my iPhone.

I agree on all counts, but have you tried https://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/forms/unlock-code-request/?
BTW, iPhones can't be unlocked by a code.0 -

The general consensus at the moment is to avoid vodafone as they currently appear to be a shambles.0

Totally agree, I'm now in my 6th hour of trying to arrange a courtesy phone while my current one is repaired, been send in so many circles I'm now feeling dizzy.
They use to have their call center in Stoke-On-Trent, back then I could get anything sorted out so simply, now I'm put through to an Indian call center half the time.
How do I go about getting them to cancel my contract?0 -
You either pay the Early Termination Fee or wait until the minim term expires and cancel it by giving a 1-month notice.LostTheMarbles wrote: »How do I go about getting them to cancel my contract?
BTW, they aren't obliged to give you a courtesy phone unless the time they take to repair yours is 'unreasonable'.0 -

Yes totally agree. One weeks holiday in France, no reception on our mobiles. Staff couldn't give an explanation and didn't seem to care.0

Ihave always tried to stayt away from big businesses like o2 and 3 and so on because they dont care about the problems we have as they have god know how much custom so i go with the underdog because they have amazing deals and if there is any problems they will help as much as they can i recommend giffgaff or lyca mobile.
I have 2 phone 1 with giffgaff and other with lyca and there amazing.0 -

So you stay away from big business like O2, but you recommend Giffgaff?
Who is owned 100% by.........O2.
That's quite a strategy there

Totally agree - avoid at all costs. I've been paying (unknowingly for 2 extra accounts) for two years. The customer service is beyond terrible and there is hardly any reception! Also the site is a joke and pretty useless.
Have a look at their facebook page for further complaints.0
