    iOS 6 (Maps)
iOS 7 (disable the lockscreen without needing to know the passcode)
    iOS 8 (Wi-Fi I think)
The fingerprint button unlock is neat on the iPhone 6; I keep trying to do it on my 5...

Be careful moving back to normal products after Apple.

The quality of Apple stuff is far superior than anything else bar Blackberry of old.

One thing I've noticed, is that with Apple stuff just tends to work rather than needing help to get running, it's those small little things IMHO that make the difference.

Whatever you do, don't sell your iPhone - give yourself the option of using it again if Android doesn't work out for you.

Ooh, please do elaborate, as you are sounding like thegoodman :p

Its sound like you have been well and truly brainwashed by Apple .

I have owned/used most top end phones ( including iphones ) and the HTC One had far better build quality than any iphone !

For anyone not particulary interested in Itunes on their mobile the Moto G matches the performance of top end phones at a bargain price.

No, it doesn't. I speak as an owner of a Moto G, an iPhone 5 and an Xperia Z3 Compact.

    LOL

While the Moto G series are good budget phones they are a long way from the performance of the top end phones.

The only people who keep saying that they are as good as or better than the flagship phones are Moto G owners trying to justify why they can't (or don't want to) afford a better phone.

My phone history is HTC Magic (Android), iPhone 4, Nexus 5, iphone 6.

The HTC magic was dreadful in comparision to the iphone 3g that was available at the time.
The iphone 4 was the first phone that I kept for a long time after my contract finished.
The Nexus 5 was a huge dissapointment after the iphone4, cpu and screen were great, build quality and speakers were very cheap - It was so bad I couldn't use speaker phone or use the speakers for anything over a 1/3 volume.
Iphone 6 - very pleased so far, hardware feel quality, some IOS8 related niggles that will hopefully be sorted in due course.

I am very happy to be back with Apple and I hope this phone will last me 3 years, whereas I gave up on the Nexus after 6 months of frustration.

I think the issue is that there isn't a very good premium Android handset - Maybe the Sony's are an exception, I read too many issues with the HTC m8 and the samsungs are destroyed by touchwiz. I have played with friends phones and have no desire for either.

Dear frogmella ( waynetta ) ...... Whatever the benchmark tests say I have found that in everyday use the moto g is as good as most top end phones.

The only pile of steaming !!!! is what comes out of the mouths of brainwashed iPhone users !

I'd say benchmark tests mean far more than someone who says "i have found..." without offering a technical explanation.

Out of interest, which other top end phones did you rigorously test the moto g against? All of these? :rotfl:

    HTC One M8
    Moto X
    Sony Xperia Z2
    Sony Xperia Z3

    Samsung Galaxy S4
    Nexus 5
    Nokia Lumia 930
