Money Saving Expert is mis-selling too

So I decided to take advantage of an offer that MSE was ofering, sign up to EE broadband pay £132 and get £120 of Amazon vouchers (only available through MSE). I signed up through MSE with EE got my order confirmation and sent them my MAC code then waited - and waited, heard nothing so I contacted EE, they said sorry we have had so many orders that we have delayed processing them. No problem we can do it now for you but you can't have your Amazon vouchers that offer has finished, I said I had signed up via MSE as per the offer, before the deadline, but no joy they said I can't have the vouchers I asked to speak to a manager but they said I should complain to MSE as it was there offer not EE's. I cancelled the order and looked at MSE again, this time free broadband with sky, just pay the line rental and get £192 of vouchers for Marks & Spencer, so I signed up, got connected and got £100 of vouchers. When I asked where the other £92 voucher was I was told by Sky that they would be sent by affiliate window and I should contact them, so I did, more than once and not even a reply and no vouchers. Given that I can't get any response from affiliate window and Sky don't want to know and MSE don't reply to emails then next stop is Trading Standards to report Money Saving Expert for mis-selling, so beware before you are duped by MSE's offers, they are not what they appear to be.

I do hope this isn't the case - my son has just taken up this offer[0 -
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=66633372&postcount=7Hi everyone,
Just wanted to point you to this written in the deal:
£192 worth of M&S vouchers (£100 by post, £92 by email). This is sent as TWO DIFFERENT vouchers - both within 90 days of your phone line being activated. There is a £100 voucher sent by post from Sky, plus a £92 voucher emailed from Affiliate Window (the marketing agency that runs Sky's special web promo deals).
There is an (up to) 90 day wait, as the vouchers are coming from both Sky and their marketing agency. This might explain why Sky don't seem to know about the other half of the vouchers!
Hope this helps.0 -

Yes I know how the deal is supposed to work, point is that neither affiliate window or MSE respond to emails, I have had no confirmation of any vouchers coming and given my experience with EE then I won't hold my breath.0 -
All cashback deals can be a lottery. I've only ever lost out on one though from loads of them and that was a few quid from Interflora. I've only once used any cashback deal other than through Quidco and more recently TopCashBack who both have good contact procedures if things get delayed. I was lucky with the other one which was also for broadband as it happens but I don't recall who it was through.
It sounds like yours is likely to work out OK if a bit delayed.0 -

Hi Yorks
Sorry to hear you have issues with the voucher, whether it was EE or Sky.
If you are still having issues please email voucherwindow@affiliatewindow.com and someone can pick this up for you.
Thanks
Jade“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of EE. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
That's what we like to see. Prompt attention to customer queries by company representatives. :cool:0

But at least they bothered to reply - which is more than the other two parties have0 -
I'm similarly waiting for a £92 voucher from affiliate window for taking up the sky offer. They assert that it can take 3 month for the vouchers to be sent so they've got ubtill the 11 of december. I've emailed them directly to enquire as to the status of the voucher and whether the email can be resent should it have gone to spam and been discarded which is my concern. This could quite easily happen and be hard to find amongst the swathes of voucher offers already in my spam folder.
I used the contact email address from the original email they sentskyvoucher@affiliatewindow.com
I've received an automated response which says they'll aim to respond within 3 days. Will update here when they do or in 3 days if they haven't0
