quick update the bmw has gone to be fixed and the trader and i are going halfsas he has admitted he shouldnt have sold it without checking it first and is going to be more strict with checking his cars.
more than happy with that

winter tyres would have been pretty pointless

I would never waste my money on such expensive follies which for the majority of the time are inappropriate for our climate, we all know that the vast majority of the UK doesn't grind to a halt when there is snow, be it half a micron or otherwise.
