MSE EE broadband deal : We want your feedback

Signed up on 28th September, had three separate go live dates, router finally arrived last week after 18 phone calls. As yet still have no phone line (they have said this won't switch till 29th October) and no broadband service, router can't connect to internet! A second router arrived yesterday for unknown reason, 2 phone calls and EE can't tell me why but the details on it are for a second account they seem to have set me up for and which they took £134.50 out of my account today for. They have never been authorised to set up or charge me for this second account and as yet I'm still not even receiving the service for one account from EE. So in summary they have taken £266.50 from my bank account and as yet I have no broadband or phone line! I only wish I knew how to extract myself from this mess. Avoid this deal at all costs, ive no idea why MSE are still advertising it.

I moved from Sky to EE on the back of a Quidco deal, in July.
The cashback hasn't shown up, and the broadband isn't very good.
I've now passed the Quidco wait period for the cashback, and so need to raise a claim.
Hi Prowla
Sorry to hear you had some cashback issues.
Has this now been resolved? If not we can investigate this for you.
Thanks

Might as well have this on record. Per the general Amazon EE thread:
If the issue is resolved, will update.

I'm not impressed so far.
I signed up for the EE phone/broadband deal via the link and got a confirmation page when I completed the order, which unfortunately I didn't print as I knew I would get an email.
No email arrived.
However I did get a phone call a couple of days later from EE from a lady asking if she could help me with anything - I said I'd signed up to a deal, so she checked and said it was all there. I then had a letter from EE saying that the transfer had started and was due to go live 27th Oct. I also had letters from Sky (previous provider) saying they would terminate service on 27th October. Didn't hear anything else until today (27th Oct, go-live day!) when I had a text from EE asking me to ring - I did and turns out there was a problem with my address so the order had to go through again. Now EE won't start my service until 10th Nov and if Sky do switch us off today that means no phone or broadband for 2 weeks. EE have agreed to give me a month free because of this.
However I am now worried I won't get the Amazon voucher. I've emailed the Affiliate email address and await a reply.
Really wish I hadn't bothered with this now but I trusted MSE - this is the first deal I've signed up to via MSE, won't bother again if this is the result!
Hi Topcat11
Sorry to hear you have had a few issues!
Is this all resolved now? If not I can ask customer services to contact you regarding the product?
In terms of the voucher if you still do not have it, please send your order reference and order date to eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com and we will look in to this for you.
Thanks

That's rubbish. The settings in the router are pre-programmed, but you still need to enter your BB username and password (or I did).
Find the email entitled "(Name), Your broadband and home phone are on the way, here's what happens next". This will have your username and password.
Hi Masonic

I've had no end of problems with EE since going for the £2.50 a month offer. Bad, slow (I mean worse than dial up slow) internet for the best part of 2 months and constantly being messed about by them. They have done endless line tests etc and it's still not resolved. I tried to leave but they say the only way I can leave is to pay them £125 cancellation fee and lose the £130 odd quid I paid upfront for my line rental which I cannot afford. So I'm stuck in a mess !
Hi peainapod

Hi,
No voucher has materialised and its been 4 months now. I have emailed the affiliate email address, still nothing.
As key promoter of this offer, what is MSE doing?
I expect better of MSE, as I trust your website when it comes to saving money.

I have had no problem with the telephone and broadband services themselves.
I got the £120 voucher OK but had to get on to them, they didn't come to me.
They don't advertise their email address but eventually I found it <customer-service@ee.co.uk>
However I would advise customers to keep an eye on their bills.
I joined EE through MSE in June to take advantage of the Amazon £120 voucher.
A few months ago I contacted customer services about a billing query. By the by, the agent let slip that, after the first six months, the Customer Discount of £7.45 on my Account Charges would no longer apply and I'd be paying £9.95 instead of the present £2.50.
I ended up sending EE an extract of the original offer from my MSE email of 18/06/14.
" Unlimited broadband: You pay £2.50/mth, so £30 for 1yr (avail to 95% of UK). The price'll rise after contract end."
EE got back and confirmed that I was right and I'd pay only £2.50 for the whole year. So watch your bills, they might try it on!
The last two months I have been billed for calls to a landline number that I never made. Pasting the number into the search box revealed that it was Orange Broadband telesales. I got on the phone again to EE and have been promised a refund but it wasn't without hemming and hawing and passing me around and parroting my name and password each time.
They don't make it easy. I really do think they're trying it on. Watch them!
