Saw this offer on MoneySavingExprt - Wish we had not! Moved from Sky having spoken to EE twice to check that their equipment (box) was suitable and that the broadband speed was reasonable - we were twice assured of minimum13mbps, but that our postcode was better at 17mbps. Since the switch, the broadband completely drops out routinely, speeds of 0.4 are normal and the Customer Service is a nightmare - to add insult to injury, EE suggest that we upgrade to fibre optic at a much higher price and insist that a further 18 month contract is required - Having had both BT and Sky broadband previously, EE are significantly below par and this is not value for money - now we are paying for broadband that we do not receive - Will be trying to talk to them again this weekend and see if something can be resolved. Would recommend that anyone considering taking this offer, make detailed enquiries as our experience has not been good and we feel that EE completely mis-represented their service during the conversations we had with them before switching. Very disappointed all round sadly.

    Hi SEG27

Sorry to hear you have experienced problems.

Are you still having difficulties? If so I can ask EE customer services to contact you to ensure this is resolved ASAP.

    Thanks

Signed up to the deal through the MSE link back in August and waited. Got a txt from EE saying I had to ring them and was told there was a problem porting my old number over. Was advised to contact my current provider Talk Talk as it was their fault. After calls to Talk Talk and then back and forth to EE over several days, I was finally told that the order hadn't originally been put through correctly and they'd had to put it through again to sort the problems. Not my fault, just some glitch at their end. Broadband was finally connected about 3 weeks later.

Fast forward nearly 3 months and I was getting a bit anxious about the Amazon voucher as we are really struggling financially at the moment and had ear marked that voucher to be used to buy a car seat for baby due end of December. E-mailed affiliate window who replied saying that the order had not tracked and they would e-mail EE about it on the last day of this month (which is 2 weeks away) and to expect the voucher "around the start of next month". That doesn't leave me much time to order a car seat, have it delivered with the Christmas rush and get here on time for baby. And that's *if* everything goes to plan. I am really worried that it won't be as straight forward as this, especially since there were so many problems with the order in the first place, and it will be delayed again.

Really worried, panicking, hormonal woman here! Disappointed MSE :-( Part of the reason I went with this deal was because I trusted MSE and didn't expect there to be any problems. After reading the above posts I'm not filled with much confidence that it will all work out.

    Hi Bananacakes

Sorry to hear you have had issues.

Have you had your voucehr through yet? If not I can look in to this for you to ensure you get it before Xmas.

    Hi David,

To go in to the full story would waste another hour of my life, so I'll try and summarise the relevant points! I placed the order, received my router and got broadband service from EE on the 16th of October...this is where it starts going downhill. The full years line rental was taken out my account on the 30th of October as expected but what was not expected was a bill from Virgin my previous provider early in November asking for their usual amount? After a call to them and speaking to a very helpful lady I discovered that EE had organised for my broadband to be switched to them on the 15th- 16th of October but the phone wasn't to be switched until the 15-16th of November? I now call up EE and get a very helpful lady who says that Virgin work differently from every other supplier (doubtful but I'll go with it) so EE couldn't arrange both services to be switched at the same time, she'll have to resubmit my telephone line order but I'll get the same deal (I should hope so as they have taken the full amount for the line rental 2 weeks ago). Yesterday I received an email from Virgin saying the phone line has been cancelled as expected but what I didn't expect was my phone nor broadband to be working. After spending over an hour this morning trying to get an answer from EE as to what was happening (after getting the worst and rudest run around I have ever experienced from any company I have ever dealt with) I got someone who was willing to acknowledge that there was an issue and I would need to re-order the telephone line, even though the lady I spoke to on the previous call to them earlier in the week said she had done this? Now I would have a broadband service but it wouldn't work until the phone line is enabled which would be the 1st of December at the earliest. I stopped the call there and asked to speak to a manager, to which I was told that could take 24 to 48 hours for them to call me. I look forward to this call whenever it may take place!

I hope as MSE promoted this offer they willing to go to bat for myself and the many other disgruntled consumers who took up on it!

    Hi Prelli

Sorry about the issues you have faced. Have these been resolved now?

If not I can look in to this for you and have things resolved ASAP.

Today EE are saying that it is not their problem and that they will not provide the Amazon voucher - they say it is MSEs problem not theirs as MSE approved of the third party selling the offer of an Amazon Voucher?

EEs answer is for the customer to contact MSE to ask for the voucher but there isn't a way to contact MSE - no phone, no email, no online contact form.

Is this is a case of fraudulently conning new customers to signup to EE via a third party from info on the MSE website. Who is responsible MSE or EE?

    Hi Jeanette

Sorry to hear you have been passed around between people.

If you are having a voucher issue please contact eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com with your order reference and order date and we can look in to this for you.

So, I signed up to EE after seeing the deal to get £120 i Amazon Vouchers, I used the correct link, I told EE when I originally signed up but nothing came. I called EE to daid to call back 3 months after activation so I called back to be told to contact eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com and they did not respond, I've chased 5 times and they still ask for more information each time even though I sent all the information they originally requested.

Disappointed and its so disorganised and no one to contact to help as EE state its not their problem and eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com. have to be chased to get basic response but no commitment to if they are going to send the vouchers

    Any ideas??

    Hi Katesc

Sorry to hear you havent had any pick up with that voucher address. I do apologise for that.

Has your query been resolved now? If not please email me at jade.taylor@affiliatewindow.com and I can pick this up for you.

Please do not make the mistake I have made I switched last Friday 14/11/14 they disconnected my service with sky but have still to connect me. They are the most incompetent company I have ever come across. They put you on hold put the phone down promise to call back. I am typing this while on hold yet again. They have just said technical department is closed. I am high priority for tomorrow I was today but they did not call. I cannot believe this deal is promoted by money saving expert I have reported them to Ofcom because I cannot just switch to another company until my broadband is live with EE. Yet because my phone line is live the clock is ticking on the 14 day cancellation. I have just paid £50 for mi-fi because I work from home. If anyone has any ideas to get me out of this mess I would appreciate it. EE should be banned from home broadband trust me I would not wish this on my worst enemy!! update 20/11/14 I have been into EE shop they put me through to the high priority team they say I am being connected by 9 pm tomorrow night!! This company is a Joke.

Like others on this forum I signed up to EE deal promoted

Still waiting for my router to be delivered - so paying for a service I can't use

EE customer service is terrible - long time in phone queue etc - and then they never do what they promise

I am really regretting getting involved with these clowns - MSE should remove the offer from the site before more people get trapped

    Hi Benr007

Sorry to hear you have had service issues.

Are these still occuring? If so I can investigate this for you?

    Thanks

I switched from Sky with no real problems regarding the switch. Hopefully I will receive the Amazon vouchers... However, I am still in the first week of my new connection but the broadband is so slow! Weird thing is that speed tests say its around 3-4mb which is what I was getting with Sky but web pages are much slower now and files will only download at about 5kb/s!!! (yes, kilobytes) So pretty unusable atm.

    Hi Xannus

Are you still having speed issues? If so I can speak to customer services for you.

Also if you have trouble with your voucher please email eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com.

I emailed the Customer Service Director at EE regarding my "late" Amazon voucher and received the voucher within 5 days.
The £100 voucher was about a 5 weeks after the 3 month waiting period in there terms and conditions.

    Hi Lexington013

Sorry to hear you has issues with your voucher. Has this now been resolved? If not I can investigate this for you.
