Every holiday I have booked online (Thompson, Expedia and Lastminute) have all mentioned that transfers were included or clearly given me the option to add the transfers in.
  • Hi,

I think that the "Vent" and "Rip off" boards in the main provide an excellent resource and for genuine grievances and complaints the advice provided is extremely useful, both for the original poster and for other readers who after reading the post will hopefull be forewarned and not make the same mistake as the OP.

My amusement cames from some idiots who post trite and petty complaints and who expect sympathy from MSE posters and I particularly enjoy it when they get responses along the lines of "thats life - get over it" .

As examples of trite and petty posts, I would refer you to recent ones regarding MacDonalds, Millies Cookies and an amusement arcade in Skegness.

As an example of idiotic consumerism, what about the recent post where somebody bought a bracelet from Cashconverters and started moaning 2 months after their purchase when Cashconvertors wouldn't take it back because the stones started falling out- DOH !

I don't think that me pointing out that some posters on these boards are idiots makes me a Troll - perhaps Hollydays refers to everybody who doesnt agree with them as a Troll.

I think it worth pointing out that even idiots need to be made aware that they need to take responsibility for their idiocy.

I stated my opinion based on my experience of using Thomson's website.

Just because I don't agree with other posters doesn't automatically mean that I am wrong.

However, I do think it unneccesary to post the same thread on more than one forum.

I agree-Pollycat and redmike should have replied to the one on the travel agents forum-why dont they go there now-and disagree with the OP.
Please read the whole thread before posting,in future.
  • Olliday's

Oui, mon petit chou, I did read the post to which you refer.

Just because some people agreed with the OP that the Thompson website is "a bit hard" or "confusing" doesn't make it so.

    Au revoir
