Surely buyers should ask the seller before bidding if they combine postage?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Think hollydays is assuming that seller will send all separately and therefore be out of pocket if they are returned en masse. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I think the seller is doing that because after all he/she will get that money on top of the purchase (the money he/she will charge you for delivery). You could try to ask politely but if it is not a big seller, cautious about their rating on eBay, the seller is unlikely to be reasonable.0

You're on the ball. I had this with an Amazon bookseller who was selling books at the incredible prices of 7p to £1. The P&P for each one was £2.80. Before ordering I asked if there would be a group rate if I bought more than one book. The seller very honestly replied that they would still charge me £2.80 for postage because that's where his profit actually came from.0 -

AS per custardy, book sellers on Amazon have no choice but to accept the Amazon postage credit. They price the books to include the postage- they can do nothing about it.

Oh definitely not. I rarely mark down suppliers and then only for very good reason. If I buy books I give an honest account of the reading experience making sure other readers can understand that my review is based on my personal opinion. I think you've got to with books because many readers come away with a different view.0 -
Well maybe I am just awkward but if this happened to me and I still wanted the item I would just pay for them one by one after each is sent.People don't know what they want until you show them.0
