Cancelled sky

I spent nearly 90 minutes on "online chat" recently, in order to cancel my Sky TV sub. I'm about halfway thru the notice period and an offer for 35% off for 12 months is the best that has appeared on MySky so far.
Hoping for at least 50% off !!

Have just canceled via Web Chat. Took 40 minutes. Am not seeking an offer. Going to get a Humax Freesat recorder.

I did used something similar at every question from them. However I preferred to use web chat as it allowed me to do other things at the same time.

I spent between 75 and 90 minutes on webchat......but I had a cup of coffee and watched something on catch up at the same time!!!

Was that because the person had lots to say, was a slow typist or was dealing with a number of clients at once ?

Just cancelled my Sky today, i got offered 20% off full package for 8 months, i said,"stick it" so will now wait to see what happens before Nov 7th.I also rang on freephone number 08000963624, that was for latest offers.They put me through to cancellations. Just hope i get a decent offer now.Took 20 mins to cancel.

On MY SKY, just been offered 25% off for a year plus free sky plus box. (Still holding out). I pay 82.50 a month at the moment, Full package sky plus HD and multi room.What should i hold out for? Thanks in advance.
