I'm reading, but don't have much news so don't post. Rent Day at the lotties on Saturday, we need to be there at 10 am for meeting about getting committee sorted out. As well as paying our Rent we get to buy seed potatoes at lottie prices. :)

    Gotta watch Wolf Hall now!

Yes, we have a caravan, on its own pad, with leccy and drains, though it's laid up for the winter and there's no water there if it's cold. It's a tourer, not a static.

We'll manage better in here. Being quite a long bungalow, we can find somewhere to retreat to, don't worry. :) Early next week looks pretty good, with around 5c most nights. That's OK for the time of year. :D

Its a lovely place Alfie, BUT if they have skimpt on the work, it will def back fire on them.

We have tourer caravans, and the big one is approx 27ft, with an end bedroom, its the one we bought a few years back after we wrote off the van and caravan. We only used that one once on the road, so parked itup the ranch, and bought a 2 birth one for shows and the bulldog bash

We have only connected the electric to it, and i take our washing up stuff home to do.

Made me giggle - visualised a long list written up in the plaster on one of your walls with vigorous striking through of those judged incompetent. :D:D:D

We have to choose between two heating engineers and it's really difficult. :(

One is offering a 5 year parts & labour guarantee, but he's the more expensive. The other one is very cheap, but rather old-fashioned.

I have to grill them both a bit more, but not tonight.

for anyone interested, goto R....move, for prices put/click in £1750 min rent and LYMINGTON hampshire. look for the one with the big brick/railed walls... about 2nd down.
  • Alfie dont mind me being nosey but how much rent were you paying a month? As all they have done is put a bog basic kitchen in, those bathroom suites you can pick up off the bay for about £300

Have they connected it up for electric now? Or does it still need a gennie?

Looks nice from the outside, but they have ripped the heart out of the place

well originally I put in the central heating, new roof [smaller one] and put in kitchen as there was nothing in the house at all. so my rent was 550. i also bought and wired house for generator [[£3000]........ it has electric now but as far as we know no new cess pit has been put in ?? they have also flattened garden over a natural spring ditch so that will be fun !!
  • Fun and games then..hope they get a solicitor as a tennant lol
